Michael L. Gordon is co-founder, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Angelo, Gordon.  At Angelo, Gordon, Michael manages the diverse investment ideas within each discipline to provide a steady balance of risk and reward.  He oversees the Research Department and is responsible for the quality and depth of research that is the hallmark of Angelo, Gordon. Michael began his career as a research analyst for L.F. Rothschild in 1970, specializing in the oil and oil service industries.  Michael served as Director of Research of L.F. Rothschild's Arbitrage Department and became a Managing Director of the firm. Michael has a B.A. degree from Colby College and a J.D. degree from Boston University Law School.

David Kamin joined Angelo, Gordon in 1994 and is the Senior Portfolio Manager for the multi-strategy portfolios.  Over the past 15 years, Dave has analyzed both merger arbitrage and distressed situations.  Dave holds a B.A. degree from Amherst College and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University School of Business.

Gary Wolf joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 1993.  Gary is a portfolio manager and is the manager of the firm's convertible securities group.  Previously, Gary was an equity/fixed income analyst at Delta Asset Management in Memphis, Tennessee.  Gary is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received a B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Bradley Pattelli joined Angelo, Gordon in 1998 and is co-head of the firm’s leveraged loan business.  While at Angelo, Gordon, Brad has analyzed high yield investment opportunities ranging from par loans to distressed debt.  He has also served as a board member on two portfolio companies.  Prior to joining the firm, Brad served as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst at diSilvestri Asset Management, where he focused on investment analysis and idea generation.  Brad holds B.S. degree from Notre Dame and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University School of Business.

Bradley Pattelli
Bruce Martin joined Angelo, Gordon in 1999 to focus on investments in the leveraged loan market. Bruce is co-head of the firm’s leveraged loan business and co-portfolio manager of the firm’s CDO business. Since 1993, Bruce has analyzed high yield investments ranging from par loans to distressed debt and has also focused on equity value creation as a member of the Board of Directors for Angelo, Gordon portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm, Bruce was a High Yield Bond Analyst at Putnam Investments and at Eaton Vance. Before working at Eaton Vance, he worked at John Hancock as a Senior Corporate Bond/High Yield Analyst and at Insurance Service Offices as an Actuarial Analyst. Bruce holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics from SUNY Binghamton and an M.B.A. degree from Northeastern University.

Thomas Fuller is a Senior Managing Director of Angelo, Gordon and a member of the firm’s executive committee. Tom is responsible for the firm’s distressed securities area. Prior to joining Angelo, Gordon in 2000, Tom was a Vice President at Nomura Holding America where he was responsible for distressed securities investing in the Special Situations Group. Prior to that, Tom was an analyst concentrating on distressed and special situation securities at S.N. Phelps & Co. Tom began his career as a reporter for Dow Jones Newswire covering high yield and bankrupt companies. Tom holds a B.A. degree from SUNY Buffalo and an M.B.A. degree from George Washington University.


Thomas Fuller
NET LEASE REAL ESTATE SENIOR PROFESSIONALS
Gordon J. Whiting joined Angelo, Gordon in 2004 and is the founder and Senior Portfolio Manager of the firm's net lease real estate strategy.  Gordon has over 14 years experience in this industry and previously was an Executive Director of W. P. Carey & Co. LLC.  He was also the President and Portfolio Manager of Corporate Property Associates 14, Incorporated, one of W. P. Carey's publicly-held, non-traded real estate investment trusts (with over $1.2 billion in assets) that invest in net leased commercial and industrial properties.  Gordon is a member of the five-person Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (the "FRTIB"), a position to which he was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate.  The FRTIB oversees the $208 billion of 401(k) type retirement accounts (the Thrift Savings Plan) for most Federal employees and military personnel.  Gordon received a B.S. degree from Cornell University and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University.

Teddy Kaplan joined Angelo, Gordon in 2006 and co-manages the firm's net lease real estate strategy.  Teddy was previously a Director of W. P. Carey & Co. LLC where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, and closing net lease real estate transactions.  Prior to joining W. P. Carey, Teddy worked for Meyer, Duffy & Associates, a New York based private equity firm, where he was responsible for sourcing, analyzing and managing private equity investments.  Teddy began his career in the Corporate Banking group at Brown Brothers Harriman, providing credit and corporate finance advisory services to middle market companies and financial sponsors.  Teddy received a B.S. from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University.

David Roberts is a Senior Managing Director of Angelo, Gordon and a member of the firm’s executive committee. He joined Angelo, Gordon in 1993. David manages the firm’s private equity and special situations area and was the founder of the firm’s opportunistic real estate area. David has invested in a wide variety of companies and special situations, including companies in the business services, healthcare services and financial services industries. Previously, he was a principal at Gordon Investment Corporation, a Canadian merchant bank, where he participated in a wide variety of principal transactions. Prior to that he worked in the Corporate Finance Department at L.F. Rothschild where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions. David has a B.S. degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

David N. Roberts
Arthur Peponis joined Angelo, Gordon in 2009 and is Co-Head of the firm’s private equity and special situations area. Before joining Angelo, Gordon, Art was a Partner at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and the Chief Operating Officer of the Financial Sponsors Group in New York. During his 16 years at Goldman, Art was responsible for the investment banking activities for several leading private equity firms. While at Goldman, Art originated over 150 M&A advisory assignments and bookrunner financings. In addition, Art sourced over $3 billion of investments for Goldman’s Principal Investment Area. Art holds an A.B. degree from Princeton University and an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School.

Arthur Peponis
REAL ESTATE PRIVATE EQUITY SENIOR PROFESSIONALS
Keith Barket is a Senior Managing Director of Angelo, Gordon and a member of the firm’s executive committee. He joined Angelo, Gordon in 1997 and oversees the firm’s global real estate activities. Keith has over 20 years of direct real estate ownership and operating experience, involving over $10 billion of assets. Between 1988 and 1996, Keith was a principal with Amerimar Realty Company where he invested and co-managed a $1 billion real estate portfolio, including many assets acquired in partnership with Angelo, Gordon. Prior to Amerimar, Keith worked as a senior tax accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. Keith holds a B.S.B.A. degree from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Keith F. Barket
Adam Schwartz joined Angelo, Gordon’s real estate group in 2000 and oversees the firm’s investment activities in the United States.  Prior to joining the firm, Adam worked in the acquisitions group at Vornado Realty Trust, a public real estate investment trust.  His work focused on the acquisition of public and private real estate companies in addition to single asset acquisitions.  Adam received a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Adam Schwartz

Wilson Leung is employed by an associated local office of Angelo, Gordon in Hong Kong, focusing on real estate opportunities in China and other parts of Asia.  Prior to opening the Hong Kong office in mid-2005, Wilson was employed by Angelo, Gordon, focusing on real estate opportunities in the U.S.  Before joining the firm in 2002, Wilson was a management consultant for Bain & Company, a strategy consulting firm in San Francisco.  Previously, Wilson managed a small real estate portfolio for a non-profit institution.  He received a B.S. degree from Cornell University.

Steven Cha is employed by an associated local office of Angelo, Gordon in Seoul, focusing on real estate opportunities in Korea.  Prior to joining the Asia real estate team in 2006, Steven worked at Deutsche Bank in Korea for five years, where he was involved with investments in properties, non-performing loans, developments and real estate related operating companies.  Steven was also actively involved in managing and repositioning assets at Deutsche Bank.  Previously, he worked in corporate finance at Merrill Lynch & Co.’s Korea office.  Steven holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A. degree from  Harvard Business School.  


Steven Cha
Will Abbate is based in Los Angeles and is responsible for Angelo, Gordon’s real estate activities in the southwestern U.S. Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Will worked in the Investment Banking Department at Morgan Stanley, primarily focused on Real Estate Fund (MSREF) acquisitions and Mergers and Acquisitions. He participated in the acquisition of public and private real estate companies in addition to single asset acquisitions. Will holds a B.S. degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

Will Abbate
Steve White is based in Los Angeles and is responsible for Angelo, Gordon’s real estate activities in the northwestern U.S. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Steve worked in the real estate investment banking group at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he participated in the disposition and recapitalization of office, retail, hotel, and multi-family properties. Previously, Steve was a partner and co-founder of a private real estate investment company in the Los Angeles area. Steve holds an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Real Estate Debt Senior Professional
Andrew Solomon joined Angelo, Gordon’s real estate group in 2006 and is responsible for firm’s commercial real estate debt business. The real estate debt group currently manages a portfolio of over $2.5 billion consisting primarily of investment grade CMBS securities. Prior to joining AG, Andrew was a Vice President at NorthStar Realty Finance where he was a member of the company’s investment committee and responsible for all aspects of the company’s securities business. Prior to joining NorthStar, Andrew was an Associate in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at CIBC World Markets and was an Audit Manager for Arthur Andersen & Co. Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant.

Andrew Solomon

Jonathan Lieberman joined Angelo, Gordon in 2008 as head of the firm’s residential mortgage securities business. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan worked at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. as a Senior Managing Director in the Strategic Finance/Financial Institutions Group, primarily focused on the Specialty Finance Sector. Before that, Jonathan was a Senior Analyst in the Structured Finance Group of Moody's Investors Service and an attorney in the New York and Los Angeles offices of the law firm Dewey Ballantine LLP, where he specialized in securities law and structured finance. Jonathan holds a B.A. degree from Vassar College and a J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law.
