Gareth Henry

Gareth Henry joined Angelo, Gordon in 2016 as Global Head of Investor Relations.  Gareth is a Managing Director and a member of the firm’s executive committee.  He joined the firm from Fortress Investment Group, where he was Global Head of Investor Relations for Fortress Liquid Markets.  At Fortress Liquid Markets, Gareth led a team of professionals targeting clients in the U.S., Canada, the Middle East and Asia, and oversaw all sales, marketing and client services.   Previously, he served as Head of International Investor Relations for Fortress working out of London.  In that role, Gareth created and implemented a sales strategy for institutional and consulting relationships across Fortress’s hedge fund, credit, private equity and fixed income businesses.  Prior to joining Fortress, he worked at Schroders in London as Director of Strategic Solutions, at SEI Investments in Philadelphia and London as an investment manager, and as an analyst for Watson Wyatt LLP in London.  Gareth holds a B.S. degree, in actuarial mathematics and statistics, from Heriot Watt University in the UK and is a qualified UK and U.S. actuary.  Gareth is on the Board of the Finance and Investment Examination Committee for the Institute of Actuaries in the UK.

Ruth Gitlin

Ruth Gitlin joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. at its inception and is a Managing Director. She is responsible for all client communication in the firm. Ruth began as a trader concentrating on convertible hedging strategies in European and Far Eastern markets. Previously, she was associated with L.F. Rothschild’s Arbitrage Department where she spent three years in London trading currencies, options and futures. Ruth holds a B.A. degree from Brandeis University and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University School of Business.

Mati Adler

Mati Adler joined Angelo, Gordon in 2014 and is a Managing Director.  He focuses on product specialist responsibilities for the firm’s distressed debt and multi-strategy credit disciplines.  Prior to joining the firm, Mati was a Senior Vice President at Oaktree Capital and previously worked in mergers and acquisitions for Credit Suisse First Boston. Mati holds a B.A. degree from Columbia University and an M.B.A. degree from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Peter Aliprantis

Peter Aliprantis joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2012 as a Managing Director and focuses on new business development and Platform Distribution. With more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, Peter was most recently a Partner and Managing Director of Global Intermediary Distribution at FrontPoint Partners, LLC.  During his tenure there, he was responsible for managing the global distribution of the firm's alternative investment products to Ultra-High Net Worth investors, Family Offices and Investment Advisors.  His responsibilities included new business development, strategic relationship management of sales and assisting with new product development.  Prior to FrontPoint, Peter was a Partner at Roundtable Investment Partners, a private investment firm that caters to Ultra-High Net Worth families, Foundations and Endowments.  Prior to Roundtable, Peter was Managing Director of the Preferred Advisors Program for Private Banking USA at Credit Suisse.  Before Credit Suisse, Peter spent 10 years in various senior positions at Morgan Stanley, mostly within the firm's Private Wealth Management Group.

Victoria Aston-Duff

Victoria Aston-Duff joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2008 and is a Managing Director of Angelo, Gordon Europe. She is responsible for new business development and consulting with clients throughout Europe as well as helping to expand the capabilities of the firm's associated London office. Prior to joining Angelo Gordon, Vicki was with Bear Stearns International Ltd for 17 years, most recently as Co-Head of Equity, Derivative and Prime Brokerage Sales for Europe. Before that she was Global Head of Equity Sales for Europe.  Vicki holds a post graduate diploma from The London School of Economics and a B.A. degree from Queen's University, Canada.

Sharone BenEzra

Sharone BenEzra joined Angelo, Gordon in 2012 and is a Director.  Sharone focuses on marketing and client service as part of the Private Wealth & Middle Market Group out of Angelo, Gordon's Los Angeles office. Prior to joining the firm, Sharone worked as an assistant controller focusing on portfolio reporting and investor due diligence at Owl Creek Asset Management.  Sharone began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC in the firm’s alternative investment management group.  Sharone holds a B.S. degree from University of Texas at Austin and an M.P.A. degree from the McCombs School of Business. Sharone is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York and a Certified Alternative Investment Analyst.

Matt Brody

Matt Brody joined Angelo Gordon in 2017 and is a Managing Director.  He focuses on new business development for the firm’s real estate activities. Prior to joining the firm, Matt was a Principal at Walton Street Capital for over 11 years, where he focused on business development and client service in addition to portfolio management responsibilities for a variety of real estate products.  Previously, he worked at Ernst & Young.  Matt holds B.B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Michigan.

Kathryn Cabral

Kathryn Cabral joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2009 and is a Managing Director. She focuses on client service and new business development as part of the Private Wealth & Middle Market Group. Prior to joining the firm, Kathryn worked in Investor Relations at The Carlyle Group for 3 years where she was a Vice President, managing investor relationships for the firm’s Leveraged Finance hedge funds. Kathryn has almost 20 years of relationship management and development experience in positions at firms including The Carlyle Group, Gleacher-NatWest, The Chase Manhattan Bank, and Bankers Trust Company. Kathryn holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Anselm College.

Colleen Casey

Colleen Casey joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 1998 and is a Managing Director. She focuses on institutional client development and consultant relations. Prior to joining the firm, Colleen was a National Sales Manager for The St. Regis, Aspen, a Starwood Resort. Colleen holds a B.A. degree from Villanova University.

William Cullinan

William Cullinan joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2016 and is a Managing Director.  He focuses on the firms US consultant relations effort.  Prior to joining the firm, William was a Managing Director at Easterly Capital, LLC.  While at Easterly Capital, he was responsible for capital formation and business development with institutional investors, foundations, endowments, family offices, and consultants.  Previously, William worked at Putnam’s Global Institutional Management Group, Garelick Capital Partners, LP, Merestone Partners, LP, and Fidelity Investments.  He began his career at UBS Global Prime Services.  William holds a B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Noreen Feldmann

Noreen Feldmann joined Angelo Gordon in 2009 and is a Managing Director.  She focuses on client service. Prior to joining the firm, Noreen was responsible for client relationship management at AG Asset Management.  Previously, Noreen was an institutional relationship manager at Credit Suisse Asset Management and Chancellor LGT Asset Management. She began her career as an investment performance analyst at Scudder Stevens and Clark.  Noreen holds a B.A. degree from the University of Vermont.

Jason Filiberti

Jason Filiberti joined Angelo, Gordon in 2013 and is a Managing Director. Jason is responsible for marketing and new business development. Prior to joining the firm, he led the new business development efforts across the United States for SAIL Advisors, a fund of hedge funds firm based in Hong Kong & New York.  Previously he worked for Arden Asset Management and Robeco Investment Management, where he was responsible for capital raising and client relationship management across North America. Early in his career, Jason worked for Bank of America in the Alternative Investment Group and began his career at Morgan Stanley. Jason holds a B.A. degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship at Syracuse University and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

Brigid Flanagan

Brigid Flanagan joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2012 as a Managing Director. She focuses on institutional client development and consultant relations. Prior to joining the firm, Brigid was a Senior Vice President at Artio Global Management for over eleven years. While at Artio, she focused on large corporate and public funds, endowments, foundations and key consultants. Previously Brigid was at Bayerische Hypo und Vereinsbank as an Assistant GIC Trader and Ambac, Inc. as a Vice President in the Asset Management area. She began her career at Chase Manhattan Bank where she served as an Assistant Treasurer.  Brigid holds a B.A. degree from Mount Vernon College. 

Michael Flynn

Michael Flynn joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2006 and is a Managing Director. He focuses on client service. Prior to joining the firm, Michael was responsible for marketing communications and investment analytics at John A. Levin & Co., Inc. Previously, Michael worked in the investment banking departments at Salomon Smith Barney and Bankers Trust. Michael is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a B.S. degree from Harvard University.

Morgan Frame

Morgan Frame joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2011 and focuses on Platform Distribution and client service as part of the Private Wealth & Middle Market Group.  Prior to joining the Private Wealth & Middle Market Group in 2014, Morgan was a Fund Controller in the real estate and private equity accounting group.  Previously, she worked at KPMG LLP as a senior associate in the audit practice.  Morgan is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting and M.S degree in Marketing from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.

Terri Herubin

Terri Herubin joined Angelo Gordon in 2017 as a Managing Director.  She is the firm’s real estate product specialist and oversees client service for the firm's real estate portfolios.  Prior to joining Angelo, Gordon, Terri was a Managing Director at Barings Real Estate, where she was lead portfolio manager of the firm's core open-end fund and a member of the investment committee.  She joined Barings from the Townsend Group, where she led the underwriting of U.S. commingled fund mandates.  Prior to Townsend, Terri was a co-portfolio manager for the New York State Teachers' Retirement System's equity real estate portfolio.  She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in Urban Planning and has a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

Ken Kuga

Ken Kuga joined Angelo, Gordon in 2017, and is a Managing Director in charge of Japan Investor Relations based in Tokyo.  Ken has over a decade of sales and marketing experience and focuses on enhancing and expanding the Firm’s institutional relationship in Japan. Ken started his career at JPMorgan in Tokyo, followed by 10 years in the FICC division at Goldman Sachs.  He was then a Vice President within the Pension Coverage Group at Merrill Lynch in Tokyo. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at SVP Global, a firm known for special situations investments. Ken holds an M.B.A degree in Finance from the International Corporate Strategy of Hitotsubashi University.

Damien Loveday

Damien Loveday joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2016 and is a Managing Director of Angelo, Gordon Europe. He focuses on enhancing and expanding the Firm’s institutional relationships across Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Angelo Gordon, Damien worked at Willis Towers Watson for nearly a decade, where he was most recently Global Head of Diversifying Strategies. Earlier in his career at Willis Towers Watson, he served as Global Head of Hedge Fund Manager Research, Head of Fixed Income Hedge Fund Manager Research and was a senior researcher of Fixed Income strategies. Damien holds an Accounting & Finance degree from The London School of Economics and is a CFA charterholder.

Jenny Morton

Jenny Morton joined Angelo Gordon in 2015 and is a Managing Director, heading the firm’s global consultant relations effort.  Jenny has over 25 years in the investment management industry.  Previously she was Global Head of Consultant Relations at Man Investments, Putnam Investments, and Fidelity Investments residing in the U.S., England, and Japan.  Prior to Fidelity, Jenny was a founding partner at Boston Partners.  She started in the industry as Head of Consultant Relations with The Boston Company.  At Putnam she also ran their pension business in Japan while living in Japan. She currently lives in London.  Jenny holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mary Parrinelli

Mary Parrinelli joined Angelo, Gordon in 2008 and is a Managing Director. She focuses on new business development as part of the Private Wealth & Middle Market Group. Prior to joining the firm, Mary worked in marketing and investors relations at Ivory Investment Management.  Previously, she was employed at Auda Hedge LLC in hedge fund manager selection and Spencer Trask Ventures.  She began her career in the investment banking division at UBS.  Mary holds a B.S. degree from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Bhavit Patel

Bhavit Patel joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2017 as a Managing Director and focuses on new business development particularly in the non-profit client segment. Bhavit spent the previous portion of his career at J.P. Morgan Asset Management where he most recently co-led the dedicated healthcare segment and focused on serving these clients’ varied investment goals. Prior to this role, Bhavit was a member of the endowments & foundations group where he worked with both clients and their consultants. He began his career within the fixed income business at JPMorgan Asset Management where he marketed solutions directly to financial institutions and through intermediaries. Bhavit earned a BBA in finance from Emory University.

Aliana Spungen

Aliana Spungen joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 1999 and is a Managing Director. Aliana focuses on new business development for the firm’s real estate activities. She has worked in the real estate industry since 1986, most recently as Director of Marketing for Guggenheim Realty Funds Management. Previously, Aliana worked at SSR Realty Advisors, Eastdil Realty, and Southeast Bank. Aliana received her B.S. degree from the University of Florida.

Garrett Walls

Garrett Walls joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2010 and is a Managing Director. Garrett focuses on business development efforts for the West Coast and actively consults with clients regarding the full range of Angelo, Gordon’s products and services.  Prior to joining the firm, he was head of the Institutional Client Group for Trust Company of the West (TCW).  Before TCW, Garrett was with JPMorgan Asset Management, where he served as a Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Institutional Americas business. While at JPMorgan, Garrett was Head of the West Coast region, focusing on large corporate and public funds, endowments, and foundations. In addition, Garrett has held a variety of sales and senior management responsibilities at IBM Corporation. Garrett holds a B.S. degree from Boston University and is a former Board Member of the Pacific Pension Institute.

Louise Wasso

Louise Wasso joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. in 2005 as a Managing Director and is Global Head of the Private Wealth & Middle Market Group. With over thirty years of wealth management experience, Louise and her team work with individual investors, family offices, independent advisors, foundation/endowments and high net worth platforms advising on Angelo, Gordon’s strategies and funds. Prior to joining Angelo, Gordon, Louise was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and Head of Alternative Investments/Graystone Consulting advising Morgan Stanley’s private clients globally.  In addition, Louise was President and Chief Operating Officer of Graystone Partners, a high net worth consulting firm specializing in alternative investments, which she co-founded in 1993 and was acquired by Morgan Stanley in 1999. Prior to Graystone, Louise worked as an equity block trader at Goldman Sachs, helped establish The Northern Trust Wealth Management Group and opened Bessemer Trust's Chicago office.  Louise holds a B.A. in Economics from Mount Holyoke College and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago   Graduate School of Business. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees and Investment Committee of Mount Holyoke College.

Lisa Yahr

Lisa Yahr joined Angelo, Gordon in 2012 and is a Managing Director.  Lisa is a multi-strategy credit product specialist focusing on the firm’s commercial real estate debt, residential and consumer debt, non-investment grade corporate credit and middle market direct lending strategies. Prior to joining the firm, Lisa was a Director in Securitized Products Sales at Credit Suisse Securities.  Previously, Lisa was at Lehman Brothers Inc. where she was a Senior Vice President on the Securitized Products Sales desk.  Lisa holds a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia Business School.
