Ryan Ray joined Angelo Gordon in 2021 and currently serves as Special Counsel for ESG & Sustainable Investing Strategy, reporting to both the General Counsel and Global Head of ESG. As special counsel, Ryan advises on sustainability regulations and reporting, ESG integration, product go-to-market strategy, and stakeholder training. Prior to this role, Ryan was a member of the Firm’s Project Management team, working on a variety of strategy and operations transformation initiatives. Ryan began his career in Ernst & Young’s Wealth and Asset Management advisory practice. He serves on the Young Alumni Council for the University of Tennessee. Ryan received both his J.D. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Virginia. He also holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Tennessee. Ryan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and is a licensed attorney in New York.
