Tetsu Yaoka is based in Tokyo and is a Partner and Co-Portfolio Manager of TPG Angelo Gordon’s Asia real estate funds alongside Wilson Leung and Steven Cha. He is also the Head of Japan real estate for TPG Angelo Gordon. He has been involved with the investment of more than $6 billion of real estate assets across the office, logistics, residential, hotel and other property sectors. Prior to joining the TPG AG Asia Real Estate team in 2008, Tetsu worked at D.B. Zwirn and Grove International Partners. Tetsu received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Tokyo. He is fluent in Japanese and English.
