Joseph Tien is a Managing Director and Head of Asia in the Client Partnership Group. Prior to joining TPG Angelo Gordon in 2017, Joseph helped lead Asia investment and marketing efforts at Pathway Capital Management. Joseph started his career in investment banking at UBS, followed by five years at FLAG Capital Management covering the Asia markets. Joseph is fluent in Chinese and English. He is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office. Joseph holds a B.S. degree from the University of Southern California, and a M.B.A. degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
