Marc Lessner joined TPG Angelo Gordon in 2012 and is a Managing Director in the TPG AG Structured Credit & Specialty Finance team. Marc is a co-Deputy Portfolio Manager of the open-ended structured credit fund and oversees the platform’s RMBS, CLO, CDO and TruPS portfolios, where he is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and trading both public and private investments. Prior to joining TPG Angelo Gordon, Marc was a Vice President at Vertical Capital where he helped manage the firm’s mortgage fund. Prior to Vertical, Marc was an Associate Director at Fitch Ratings. Marc holds a B.A. from Binghamton University and a M.S. from New York University. Marc is co-chair of the AG Foundation and is the founder and Chairman of the Teenok Heart Foundation, an organization that raises awareness and funds to help combat pediatric heart disease. Marc also serves as co-chair of the board of Hillel at Binghamton University and sits on the Young Executive Council at UJA.
