Angelo Gordon has been investing in commercial real estate since 1993 and has acquired over $27 billion of properties globally.  We take a value-added approach through the acquisition of sub-performing real estate properties across a broad range of geographic markets and product types.  These assets are often attractively priced due to a lack of operating income, asset complexity, and the inefficiency of the sales process.

Our approach to value creation ranges from the less intensive – improving existing operations, leasing, and renovations – to more intensive activity such as major repositioning, change of use, and, occasionally, ground-up development.

 

We work with local operating partners to source opportunities globally and correct underperformance.  Our partners value our asset management expertise and the ease of working with us to execute a business plan.

Our value-added activities are well-thought out and we are experienced at delivering on them, having completed more than 500 transactions over 25 years, through all cycles and on a global basis.

Our global real estate team’s experience encompasses all aspects of real estate investment and management, including acquisition, financing, leasing, construction management and disposition. Our hands-on operational real estate expertise has proven critical to our success in acquiring and repositioning assets.
